MUSEUM BABIES (ongoing series)
Designed for very young children and their caregivers. Museum Babies focuses on simple toys, play, and new friends. Music and activities appropriate for children having their first group experience who are mobile -- either walking or crawling. TODDLER PLAYGROUPS (ongoing series)
Toddler playgroups are an informal opportunity for toddlers to be a part of a group. Emphasis is on process and exposure to new and different materials, stories, and crafts. 45-minute classes, 5 weeks: $40 member, $63 nonmember (includes admission for child). Held in the newly reopened outdoor play space, activities that foster imagination through drawing include water drawings, drawing in the giant sand pit, geoglyphs (aerial view drawings), plexi-easel painting, and plein air sketching. Come and join the fun. For all ages. Free with museum admission.
