Are you doing something special for the holidays?

We’d like to know if you and your employees are raising money for those in need, or donating items for those served by our region’s many non-profits.  Tell us and we’ll pass that along.

My two oldest children (15 and 13) always set a portion of their earnings (allowance/odd jobs etc) aside for giving back, and a percentage for investing. They are using their giving back money to buy gifts for the Jesse Tree at church and pooling their investment money to begin their own small business (with Daddy's guidance and participation). It will be a wonderful learning experience for all of us and a great way to share our time together.

The staff of High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc. participate in many ways. We adopt a local family in need through our Youth Services bureau for the holidays. We also collect food for the Senior center and toys for general distribution to those in need.

CorePlus has adopted a family through Norwich's Human Services Office. We have collected food, gifts and cash (will be converted to a grocery gift card) for this local family. We're happy to share within our community and hope everyone out there has a great holiday season!

We've set up this website to match donations. $24 donation buys 60 meals.
If any non-profits out there would like the donations to go to YOUR food pantry this year, please contact me at 860 908 7432. Personal orders may be made on www.bodybyvi.com/cakenbake
Happy Holidays.

NRG - Montville Power, LLC, has donated over 400 lbs of canned goods to the Town of Montville Department of Senior & Social Services for the Holiday. NRG has also adopted a family through the Town of Montville Department of Senior & Social Services. We take the families Christmas list and purchase the items they are looking to receive, so that they may have a warm felt Christmas morning.
