Putting Connecticut Back to Work

U.S. Senator Christopher Dodd recently unveiled his new, comprehensive jobs agenda that will allow businesses to expand and add jobs, access credit, and put Connecticut’s unemployed workers back to work.

Read his agenda here.

Then tell us what you think about the state’s unemployment situation. Do you think enough is being done to put people back to work, and keep people in the jobs they have?

No I dont think enough is being done or that anything being done is going to help with employment possibilities in the State of Ct.. If you want to put people back to work, why dont you use the tried and proven method of cutting taxes on businesses instead of raising them.. You might also want to consider giving incentives for new businesses to move to our state, because right now all we do is scare them away with our present tax structure. By the way, the more people that are working the more taxes the state will collect!!!

As usual Senator Dodd has missed the point. Stop taxing the small business owner and WE can produce new jobs. Sentaior Dodd believes that he can save jobs and the world. It is time that we stop pandering to the politicans who do nothing for this State and the local economy because of THE name. Holding our elected officials accountable for their actions is our duty. Tax and spend with drive us into the poor house.
