In the last twelve months, what has been the biggest change to your business?

For example it could be a redesigned logo, a newly assigned company president, or a recent service you began to provide your customers.

The biggest change to Gordon's Yellow Front Wines & Liquors business during the past year has been the tremendous growth of beverage catering service. We catered the beverages for over 100 events last year working with businesses, non-profits and individuals on fund raisers and events providing beverages for bar service at our normal discount package store prices. You only pay for the bottles that get opened and or used. We coordinate with trained, personable, professional, experienced servers who arrive at your event with everything for the bar, set it up, serve, and then at the conclusion take back what is not used. It seems to serve a previouly unmet need at the lowest possible cost.

In 2010, Charter Oak had a banner year! Named Eastern Connecticut’s #1 Mortgage Lender thanks to our successful Accelerator and Cost Saver Mortgage products, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union also introduced our Gold Rewards Program, designed to benefit our members who maintain important account relationships with us. We kicked off the program by sending a surprise $100 cash bonus to 2,610 credit union members which totaled $261,000! Much more than no ATM fees, special gold CD rates and loan discounts, this program set us apart from other financial institutions and cemented our credit union philosophy of giving back! One thankful member wrote, “We would like to express our thanks to COFCU management for creating and implementing the Gold Rewards Program. As credit union members for over 40 years, we can honestly say this is one of the best things the credit union has done for its membership in many years!”

The biggest change for Minuteman Press in New London within the last 12 months. has been the fact that we have organized as a union shop. This means that we now have the ability to print the union bug and can print for other union members.

MYS-TV Studios expanded into Rhode Island and is now the producer of Newport View, an informative and entertaining Tourism Television show playing in 1700 hotel rooms in the Newport area. Newport business owners have been very receptive and eager to participate!

Last September we moved our offices to a new location:
67 New London Turnpike (Route 184) in Old Mystic. We have more spaces and a great shop area. We would love to have you stop in!

The last twelve months have been the busiest for my business. Great residential and business clients that have received help with their home organization, paper and time management, etc.

I was also elected as the President of the National Association of Professional Organizers - CT Chapter.
