Nominate the Next Citizen of the Year

The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is now accepting nominations for the Citizen of the Year Award. The award, now in its 60th year, is presented annually to honor an individual for their outstanding contributions to the civic and business community.

There is no time limit during which the nominee’s distinguished service to the community was rendered. Service can be during the previous year, in recent years or over a lifetime. While the nominee does not need to be a native of eastern Connecticut, he or she must be a resident now or at the time during which the distinguished service was performed.

Nominations are due by 4 p.m. Monday, February 15. Please call us with any questions at 860-701-9113.
