Last year, the Chamber funded media materials for the Women's Center's Violence Is Preventable (VIP) program in area schools. The videos are referenced in this letter from a teacher:
"Thank-you for your continued support of our health program here at [a local] High School. Your presentations on healthy relationships make a hugh difference in the lives of some or our students.
Unfortunately, we do not always hear about the good things that happen. I thought I would take this opportunity to relate to you a conversation I had last night with one of my student's Mom.

Her daughter was in an abusive relationship and the Mom was having a difficult time getting her daughter to see how the boyfriend was being abusive. After listening to your presentation in class this student went home and had a long talk with the mother about what was happening and how she now got it. The video and class discussions hit home for this student and she could put in words the frustration she has been feeling with the boyfriend.

I know you have made a difference in this student's life and in many other lives that we don't get feedback about. Thank-you for your dedication to this cause."
