Local Artist & Musician Lend Talents to 11th Annual “Taste of the Lymes”
Old Lyme resident Lauren Dickey, LOLHS alum and 2010 graduate of Haverford College, has created a new promotional concept for Taste of the Lymes, presented by the Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut. Ms. Dickey provided photographs for use in Taste posters and programs. Pianist Hugh Huntsinger will provide music for the 11th Annual event.
“Taste of the Lymes” takes place Sunday, April 17, from 3 to 6 pm, in the Lyme Art Association at the corner of Halls Road and Lyme Street. The event is sponsored by Shoreline Web News, LLC -- publisher of LymeLine.com, OldSaybrookNow.com, ValleyNewsNow.com.
The Rogers Lake Liquor Shoppe of Old Lyme is coordinating wine and beer selections, with delicious foods provided by local restaurateurs and caterers. Proceeds support student scholarships awarded annually by the Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets are available for a donation of $20 per person at Essex Savings Bank, Marc Jewelers, Office Express, and Rogers Lake Liquor Shoppe; and may be purchased online at www.lolcc.com.
