Norwich Free Academy and New England Law Graduate, Ryan Jaziri, Joins Suisman Shapiro as its Newest Attorney

NEW LONDON, CT:  Ryan Jaziri has joined  Suisman Shapiro as an associate, and will begin his practice in the areas of family law and civil litigation.  Ryan graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 2004.  He received his B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire in 2008, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from New England Law in Boston,  Massachusetts in 2011.  He was admitted to the bar in Connecticut and Massachusetts in November 2011.

Ryan graduated in the top 5% of his class at New England Law.  He received the New England Scholar Award from 2008-2011, and the CALI “Excellence for the Future” Award for the highest grade in Federal Courts, First Amendment and Judging and the Judicial Process.

During law school, Ryan served as a Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review.  He interned at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office in Boston, MA.  He also interned for the judges of the Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn, MA.  After graduating, Ryan completed a one year judicial clerkship for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court in New London, CT.

While earning his Bachelor of Arts degree at New England College, Ryan received the Parmenter Award for outstanding athletic ability and sportsmanship, and was the NEC Male Athlete and Student-Athlete of the Year in 2008.  He was also the Men’s Basketball All-Time Leading Scorer, Team Captain and Most Valuable Player from 2006 to 2008.
