Borders of Waterford Donates Games and Gifts to Hospice SECT

Borders Books and Gifts in Waterford recently donated numerous games and gifts to Hospice Southeastern Connecticut. These will be given to patients and families in need during the upcoming holiday season.

Deb Gienau, General Manager of the Waterford store, said, “We hope the games we are giving to Hospice Southeastern Connecticut will make a child’s holiday a little brighter. When there is a very serious illness or a death in the family during the holidays, sometimes it’s difficult to shop and to celebrate. Games and books can provide a much needed distraction during this stressful time.”

“The lotions we have given can soothe a patient or be given as gifts to a family member,” added Erica Williams, Sales Manager. “Everyone needs a little beauty in their lives, and we are honored to do what we can to help.”
