Mystic Marriott Hotel Receives Chairman's Award From Waterford Hotel GroupHotel Honored for Excellence during Leadership Conference Waterford Hotel Group recently presented the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT with its 2009 Chairman’s Award during the company’s recent Annual Leadership Conference held at the hotel. Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel management firm, professionally operates the 285-room Mystic Marriott. More than 65 managers representing 25 properties managed by Waterford Hotel Group and the company’s corporate office attended the conference to share ideas and set goals and strategies for 2010. The conference included informative breakout strategy sessions, a keynote address given by author and Fresh Revenues Founder Don Farrell, and an Awards Ceremony where Waterford Hotel Group recognized its top performing teams and individuals. The Chairman’s Award was honored to the Mystic Marriott team, led by general manager Michael Allen, for embracing Waterford’s Core Values and exemplifying what it means to be an outstanding performer. “The Mystic Marriott team is an extraordinary team that approaches their duties with enthusiasm and optimism,” commented Rob Winchester, president for Waterford Hotel Group. “In 2009 the hotel increased their Marriott QA, GSS and ESS scores, all while maintaining a professional and positive attitude that sets an example for all our properties.” |
