Charter Oak Federal Credit Union's Third Annual Turkey Drive Begins November 1st

Paper Turkeys Available for Purchase at Any Charter Oak Branch!

Groton, CT-October 28, 2011 – With the Thanksgiving holiday fast approaching, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has officially kicked off its Third Annual Turkey Drive in honor of former CEO Larry Hertell. Providing hundreds of turkeys and canned goods to local food banks each year, Charter Oak’s national award-winning Turkey Drive donated 228 turkeys and over 1,800 pounds of food in 2010 alone.

This year, the Credit Union has expanded the Drive to include the sale of paper turkeys, which can be purchased for $1 at any branch location through November 30th. Those purchasing paper turkeys can do so in honor of a loved one or their favorite non-profit organization.
