Charter Oak FCU Appoints Two Local Residents to Supervisory Committee
Annette M. Janovic of Waterford and Paul Filippetti of Mystic Have Joined Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee
Groton, CT-January 20, 2012–Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has announced the appointment of two area residents- Annette M. Janovic of Waterford and Paul Filippetti of Mystic to its Supervisory Committee. Both Credit Union members, Janovic and Filippetti will assist the Credit Union’s Board of Directors in overseeing accounting, reporting and internal control responsibilities.
Ms. Janovic serves as the Connecticut Senior Business Consultant for Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union and has over 24 years of credit union industry experience. She resides in Waterford with her husband Robert. Mr. Filippetti, a Partner at Gothie, Hoyt & Fillippetti, LLC, Certified Public Accountants, has been a Charter Oak member since 1984. He has served as a member of the Credit Union’s SCCT Management Committee since 2010 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Connecticut Society of CPAs. In addition to his volunteer work with Charter Oak, Fillippetti serves as a board member for the Groton Parks Foundation. A graduate of the University of Connecticut and a C.P.A., Paul resides in Mystic with his wife Gail and two children, Stephanie and Aimee.
