Chelsea Groton Bank Promotes Eight
Chelsea Groton Bank is pleased to announce the following promotions: Pawcatuck Branch Manager Regan Nichols to Assistant Secretary; Training Specialist Sonya Mis to Assistant Secretary; Kate Alves to Credit Department Manager and Assistant Secretary; Jennifer DeLucia to Financial Services Program Manager and Assistant Treasurer; Employee Relations Manager Christine Pemberton to Assistant Treasurer; Comptroller Jessica Todd to Vice President; Director of Retail Banking Lori-Ellen Wesolowski to Senior Vice President, and Senior Vice President Lori Dufficy to Director of Sales and Marketing.
Nichols joined Chelsea Groton Bank in 2005, and became Manager of the Pawcatuck branch in January 2011. A leader in the Westerly and Pawcatuck communities, Nichols is a dynamic member of the Westerly-Pawcatuck Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management. Currently, Nichols is attending the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s Leadership Program.
As Training Specialist, Sonya Mis is responsible for training Chelsea Groton’s tellers and customer service representatives. She also manages the Bank’s Right Way Program for employees. Mis is a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s Leadership Program.
Promoted to Credit Department Manager and Assistant Secretary, Alves is responsible for ensuring that all loan requests are underwritten accurately and according to Bank policy. She places a great emphasis on delivering loans to commercial customers in a timely manner. Alves is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s Leadership Program.
Named Manager of Chelsea Groton Financial Services and Assistant Treasurer, DeLucia oversees all aspects of operations and administration for that division. DeLucia is a member of the 2012 graduating class of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s Leadership Program. She also is co-chair of the United Way’s Giving Campaign at Chelsea Groton.
Joining Chelsea Groton Bank in 2006, Christine Pemberton serves as the Bank’s Employee Relations Manager. Pemberton has made important contributions to Chelsea Groton’s strategic planning process over the past year. Like many Bank officers, Pemberton is also a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s Leadership Program. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Certified Public Accountant and Chelsea Groton Comptroller Jessica Todd is responsible for managing all facets of the accounting department including systems, staff, and financial reporting. Additionally, Bankworld has named Todd a New Leader in Banking. This honor was awarded by the Connecticut Banker’s Association. She will be honored for this award in January.
Director of Retail Banking, Lori-Ellen Wesolowski, has been named Senior Vice President. In her role, Wesolowski oversees all retail, business banking, and security departments for Chelsea Groton Bank. She also continues to make great contributions to the Bank’s strategic plan development. Wesolowski is a graduate of Boston University, the National School of Banking, Connecticut School of Finance and Management, and the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s Leadership Program. She has been with the Bank for twenty-eight years.
Senior Vice President Lori Dufficy, formerly Director of Business Development, is now the Director of Sales and Marketing. Dufficy plays a vital role in the creation and implementation of the Bank's strategic direction, as well as supervising the Bank's marketing, advertising and sales initiatives. Lori brings 25 years of sales and business development experience to Chelsea Groton, 20 of which has been in the financial services industry. A graduate of the Fleet Commercial Credit Training Program and a former commercial lender, Lori understands the unique needs and challenges of small business. Lori is a member of the three chambers of commerce in Southeastern Connecticut and serves on the Guidance Advisory Council of South Kingstown High School. She is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut's Leadership Program Class of 2012.
