Chelsea Groton Foundation Accepting Grants through February 28, 2011

 

The Chelsea Groton Foundation, established by Chelsea Groton Bank in 1999, is welcoming grant applications through February 28, 2011.

The Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for residents within southeastern Connecticut and the greater Westerly area. Organizations seeking to apply for a grant must posses a tax exempt 501(c)(3) status or have proof that the organization is governmental unit referred to in section 170 (c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.

 

Grant applications must be postmarked no later than February 28, 2011.  These applications will be considered, and funds will be disbursed in the spring of 2011.
