Museum Babies (ongoing series)
Designed for very young children and their caregivers. Museum Babies focuses on simple toys, play, and new friends. Activities appropriate for children who are having their first group experience and mobile — either walking or crawling. Best for ages 12-18 months. 6-week series of 45-minute classes. TODDLER PLAYGROUPS (ongoing series)
Toddler playgroups are informal opportunities for toddlers to be part of a group. Emphasis is on process and exposure to new and different materials, plus stories and a craft. 6-week series of 45-minute classes. Fee: $54 member, $90 nonmember, includes museum admission for child. TWEENS

Tween Night: Welcome to Hollywood!
What do you think makes the museum such a fun place to visit? Join us and let your thoughts be known as we write, direct and star in a short movie using the Museum as our backdrop! Tweens, 10-12 years old, attend alone, but parents must escort them in and out. $15 per tween, snacks included. Get a “Tween Night” card and receive a punch each month. After 5 punches, get a free night! Tweens meet the second Friday every month. Register (860) 691-1111.

Nighttime is the Right Time (series)
This series of three, 45-minute programs is perfect for the night owls in your family. After a long day, relax with your kids while our educators do the work. Stories, crafts and experiments. Weekend Drop-In Activities
They’re back! Our weekend drop-in activities return to help chase away the cool weather chills. Take part in science and art — the hands-on, up close, Museum way. Free with admission.
