FALL PROGRAM REGISTRATION DATES
Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 13-14, 9:30 am–2 p.m.
Members-Only Registration Day
Two days before registration is open to the general public, Museum Members
can walk-in or phone-in their payment and registration. The Museum is not open
to play on this day, but a simple activity is available to keep children busy
while registering. The Members-Only registration period is Sept. 13-14 only.
All classes must be paid-in-full.
Wednesday, Sept. 15, 9:30 am–4:30 pm
Registration Opens to All
Registration opens to all beginning Sept. 15. If registering by phone,
please have a credit card ready. Pay by cash, check, or credit card if coming
to the Museum to register. All classes must be paid in full.

Fridays, Sept. 24-Oct. 22, 9:30 am
Museum Babies (ongoing series)
Designed for very young children and their caregivers. Museum Babies focuses on
simple toys, play, and new friends. Activities appropriate for children who are
having their first group experience and mobile — either walking or crawling.
Best for ages 12-18 months. 5-week series of 45-minute classes. Fee: $45
member, $75 nonmember, includes museum admission for child. Register: (860)

TODDLER PLAYGROUPS (ongoing series)
Toddler playgroups are informal opportunities for toddlers to be part of a
group. Emphasis is on process and exposure to new and different materials, plus
stories and a craft. 5-week series of 45-minute classes. Fee: $45 member, $75
nonmember, includes museum admission for child. Call to register: (860)

First Friends: For toddlers attending without caregivers. Best for
toddlers 24-36 months old.

PRESCHOOL SCIENCE
Microscopes to binoculars, critters to rocks, launching rockets to
volcanoes. Children are exposed to many facets of the scientific world.
45-minute single sessions, best for ages 4-6. Fee: $9 member, $15 nonmember,

Electric Boat Employees Community Services Association; and Families and
More: Stories Galore, a bi-lingual program of stories and projects,
sponsored by the Target Corporation.

Cow Plop
A new fundraising classic! Buy a plot from the Museum, and then meet us at
Doyle Field behind Flanders Elementary School to wait for the cow to do its
duty. Could you be the lucky person with a cow plop on your plot? Cash
