Community Hearing Aids of Connecticut Announces Grand Opening on November 29, 2010.

Groton, CT, November 15, 2010. Community Hearing Aids of Connecticut today announced it will be opening a new hearing aid practice on November 29th, 2010, located in Lighthouse Square, 441 Long Hill Road in Groton. The new office will have the latest state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide the best in hearing healthcare services, including hearing evaluations, video ear inspections, and hearing instrument fittings.

The public is invited to attend a special grand opening event on November 29th starting at 10:00 a.m. at the new office location. Activities at the event will include free refreshments, a meet and greet with the owners, prize drawings from local merchants and demonstrations of the latest hearing aid technology. An open house will run through December 3rd with free hearing tests and product specials.

Community Hearing Aids of Connecticut is owned by Kenneth Startz and Kimballi Andreozzi-Startz. Both Ken and Kim are local residents with close ties to the community. Ken retired in 1993 from the Connecticut State Police Emergency Services Unit. His tenure lead to a hearing loss, so Ken understands first-hand the challenges of being hearing impaired and how much life can be improved with hearing aids. Ken became a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist and has dispensed hearing aids in Waterford and Dayville. Kim has spent 33 years as a hearing care practitioner and professional trainer in Rhode Island and Connecticut. She is second generation of a hearing aid dispensing family. Kim is Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences.
