Cow Plop Bingo Benefits the
Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut

NIANTIC, CT The Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut (CMSECT), 409 Main St., is holding a unique fundraising event for the enjoyment of the entire community on Sunday, Sept. 19, 1:30 pm, at  Doyle Field, located behind Flanders Elementary School.

What better way to relax on a Sunday afternoon than soaking up the bucolic atmosphere of a coastal pasture, waiting for nature to take its course. The public is invited to “purchase” a plot of the pasture for $50, then sit back, relax, and watch two grazing cows until they do their duty. The first place winner receives $1000 and the second prize is $500 . Other fun, related activities are scheduled during grazing time including scat identification, drawing on elephant-poop paper, and reading “Everybody Poops.” Every person that attends receives a cow pot, made of sterilized manure, for planting seedlings.
