The Second Annual Connecticut Tigers Octoberfest & Chili Cook-Off


NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers present their Second Annual Octoberfest & Chili Cook-Off on October 15, 2011 from 1-5 p.m. The event is a celebration of the Northeast's finest craft beers. Come wet your whistle at Dodd Memorial Stadium, home of the Connecticut Tigers, the Single-A New York-Penn League Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.

Octoberfest attendees will enjoy live music’ featuring Rewind and Second Round Knock-out, chili offerings from local restaurants competing in the chili cook-off, and many of the finest craft beers our region has to offer. Cost is $20 per person with an advanced ticket purchased through the Dodd Stadium ticket office or online at cttigers.com, or $25 per person at the gate on October 15. Designated Drivers and people who choose not to sample beer can purchase tickets at the door for $10. Those attending the event must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID. Proof of age is required.

Attendees will be given 12 beer sampling tickets, additional beer tickets will be available for $1 and will be sold at the discretion of Octoberfest staff. The size of the sampling glass is 3 oz. Attendees will also be given a commemorative pint glass as part of the festivities! (Limited to the first 500 people).
