Diaper Drive at SAVA Insurance Group

SAVA Insurance Group is a drop off point for anyone wishing to donate diapers, wipes or monetary donations for the Diaper Drive, through the month of December. All donations will benefit the Gemma Moran Food Center, which is in desperate need.

 

Why is there such a desperate need for diapers? A month’s supply of diapers can cost as much as $100; Wic and food stamps cannot be used for diapers; often children are left in diapers to save money, which leads to infections and rashes; daycare centers require disposable diapers, which can be costly; and a normal infant can use up to 12 diapers a day!

 

Drop offs can be made at the office located at 750 Broad Street in Waterford, Monday to Friday, during the hours of 9AM to 4:30 PM, closed for lunch 12:45 to 1:15.
