NIANTIC, CT – The Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut, 409 Main St., located just a hop, skip, and jump from the waters of Long Island Sound, invites families to visit the seaside town for the day.

Visitors to the museum may request front-desk staff for complimentary passes to the Hole-In-the-Wall beach, located across the street next to the Niantic Bay boardwalk. In addition, the museum offers parking passes to nearby McCook Park, sitting atop a bluff overlooking Long Island Sound and featuring a playground, pavilion, picnic tables and grills. To complete the day, a list of local restaurants and other family-friendly businesses is available at the Children’s Museum’s front desk.

Call ahead to reserve a beach pass for the morning, 10 am-1pm; or for the afternoon, 1:30-4:30 pm. A $35 credit card deposit is required but is refunded when the pass is returned to the museum.
