Draw On! at the Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut

NIANTIC, CT – The Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut (CMSECT), 409 Main St., invites families to participate in Draw On!, an artistic event on Saturday, Apr. 2, 10 am-4:30 pm.
Artists of all ages are invited to come together for a day of  drawing and making art, both outside and within the museum. The focus is on drawing media and technologies, featuring several temporary exhibits such as a harmonograph, a pendulum that makes spiral patterns; an overhead projector for making shadow drawings; light drawings made with flash lights; and Zen water drawing.

The Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut is one of the only local hosts for Draw On! and the only children’s museum in the state hosting the event. Draw On! is an event organized by the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, CT. Go to www.drawon.org for details.
