Chelsea Groton Bank Trains Employees in AED Use

Chelsea Groton Bank is pleased to announce the installation of Automatic External Defibrillators at its Norwich and Groton offices.  An AED is a portable electronic devise used to diagnose and treat an irregular heartbeat through the use of computer monitoring and electrical therapy.

Committed to caring for the community, Chelsea Groton held a CPR and AED training class for employees on August 19.  During the class, ten employees became certified in CPR and AED use.

This new safety feature is being instituted to promote a healthy environment for the community in which we all live, work, and play.

Chelsea Groton Bank is a mutual savings bank.  It serves individuals, families and businesses in a network of fourteen offices located throughout southeastern Connecticut and southwestern Rhode Island.
