An Exhibition of Impressionism, the Constantine Art Group

November 1, 2011, New London, CT…The Constantine Art Group announces the Opening Reception of An Exhibition of Impressionism to be held at The Garde Arts Center, 325 State Street in New London on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2:30  - 4:30 pm in the Pfizer Mezzanine. The exhibition runs from November 13, 2011 – February 28, 2012.

The Constantine Art Group began when artist and instructor, Lois Constantine, started teaching over 20 years ago.  She discovered the joy of teaching while acting as monitor for renowned artist, Robert Brackman at The Lyme Academy of Fine Art. Ms. Constantine is an artist member of the Salmagundi Club of New York which is the oldest professional art club in the United States. She is also a member of several other art organizations including the Mystic Arts Center in her hometown of Mystic, CT. Her work is represented in national and international collections.
 
The artists whose work will be exhibited at The Garde include:  Leona Arsenault, Dina Ballestrini, Frankie Bennett, Jacqueline M. Carlson, Lois H. Constantine, Mildred Donth, B.J. Gaynor, Terry Carter George, Ethel Gerity, Lisa Giordano, Shirley Judge, Anne M. Murphy, Barbara B. Nelson, Frances Patsiga, Rita M. Schmidt, and Vivian Stanley.
