Festival of Trees & Music's SWEET Celebration

Bring Our Music Back, Inc. will present the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees and Music at the Lyme Art Association, opening to the public the day after Thanksgiving, November 25th through December 4th, 2011.  The exhibit runs daily from 10a-6p!
 
Ring in the holidays with a special visit to view the exhibit of over 36 decorated holiday trees sponsored by community organizations and business throughout the region. Each day will feature emerging young artists with music, cookies and a wonderful Topiarium Gift Shop of decorative holiday foliage, urns, and specialty jams, jellies, chutneys and gift baskets.  A silent and live auction will be held for the trees, and each will be delivered to the highest bidder on December 5th and 6th.  Daily tickets to the Festival of Trees will be $ 5.00 for adults, children 5 and under are free.  Bring Our Music Back, Inc. is also partnering with the Florence Griswold Museum to offer $ 2.00 off the combined ticket price from 11/25 thru 12/4.  Purchase admission at either location!
 
The highlight of the 10-day festival will be a celebration called 
S W E E T. . .  where Dessert meets Music  to raise funds for the Youth in Music Scholarships of Bring Our Music Back, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization.   S W E E T takes place on December 3, 2011 from 7-10p hosted by Event Chair Josh Chalmers, CEO of Earth2, and Honorary Chairs Ann Nyberg, WTNH and Dyanne Rafal, Old Lyme.  The party is a magical evening of creative desserts, with live music and dancing to the sounds of HoneyBoy Edwards and the Hot Swing Club.   A THYME TO COOK is the lead catering sponsor.  Highlight of the evening will be a lively auction of 8 of the Best Decorated Trees.  Proceeds will benefit the Youth in Music Scholarship Programs of Bring Our Music Back, Inc.
