Congressman Joe Courtney to visit Covenant Shelter

New London, CT – Covenant Shelter of New London, Inc. is pleased to announce that Congressman Joe Courtney will be visiting the shelter on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 12:15 PM.

 

 Covenant Shelter of New London was established in 1983 by St. Mary Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church and St. James Episcopal Church to meet the emergency needs of the area’s homeless.  For over twenty-seven years Covenant Shelter has provided clean, safe, dignified shelter and meals for up to 35 men, women and children each day.
