Welcome John P. Kearney, CPA
Please welcome John P. Kearney, CPA, as the newest member of the Connecticut Development Authority Lending Group.  As Vice President, Commercial Lending, John brings to the CDA more than 25 years of local, regional and international financial services experience. 

John comes to the CDA from The Savings Institute Bank and Trust in Willimantic, CT, where he served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending.  Previously, John served as Partner in the regional accounting firm of Begley, Pascoe & Co, and as Senior Vice President at HSBC Equator Bank where he was responsible for developing emerging markets in Africa.

John’s years of experience in small to large commercial markets makes him a perfect fit for CDA.  “I believe strongly in CDA’s mission of creating and sustaining jobs in Connecticut, especially in this difficult economic environment,” said John.

John looks forward to working in partnership with businesses that come to the CDA for our products and services.  “I’m interested in meeting Connecticut businesses with strong business plans and a commitment to their own financial futures,” said John.  “In return, the CDA lending team will be a proactive advocate for them.  We can be a part of the solution, with their participation, for their lending needs.”

John and his family reside in Suffield, Connecticut.
