Kara Spinnato Appointed as Director of Sales for Courtyard By Marriott Norwich and Springhill Suites By Marriott Waterford

Waterford, CT (September 12, 2011) --- Kara Spinnato has been named Director of Sales for two Southeastern Connecticut hotels - the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich and SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Waterford. Both properties are professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel and convention center management firm.


As Director of Sales, Spinnato will be responsible for the total sales effort of the hotel, including developing and maintaining new accounts, supervising sales related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. She joins Waterford Hotel Group from her most recent position as Sales Manager for the Providence Biltmore Place in Providence, RI. Spinnato also previously served as Director of Sales for the Hyatt Place in Mystic, CT.

Spinnato has a Bachelor of Arts/Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Professional Selling from the University of Connecticut. She currently resides in Franklin, CT.
