CREDIT UNION’S NEW KHS BRANCH TO HOST RIBBON CUTTING SEPTEMBER 15TH

Media, Town & School Officials Invited to Attend

 

On Wednesday, September 15th, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union will celebrate the opening of its second high school branch with a ribbon cutting celebration scheduled for 10:00am. Members of the media, town and school officials, as well as credit union representatives are invited to attend. Those interested in attending the festivities should email Kim Bartlett at kbartlett@cofcu.com to be added to the list of authorized attendees.

 

Featuring a tour of the new branch, the celebration will also offer light refreshments and introduce the Credit Union’s ten student tellers.

 

Charter Oak’s Killingly High School branch was built to promote financial literacy to Killingly teens. Featuring the Focused on Finances Program, the branch will guide students through the basic steps of banking and help them avoid the pitfalls of debt.
