Calling All Kids to Join a Focus Group at the Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut

The Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut, 409 Main St., is looking for volunteers, aged 10-12 years old, to join a focus group for tween programs. The first meeting is Tuesday, May 4, 4-5 pm., at the museum.

The purpose of the young think-tank group is to brainstorm and plan creative activities for Tween Night at the Museum, held the second Friday each month, 7-8:30 pm. The focus group, under the leadership of museum staff, discusses ideas for future indoor and outdoor programs specifically targeted for 10-12 year-olds.

Also included during the Tuesday afternoon program are refreshments and fun activities such as Marshmallow Races and the Human Hand Knot.

Join the committee: come and bring friends to this initial brainstorming session.
