Westerly Hospital Auxiliary’s Lights of Love Campaign Funds Anesthesiology Equipment
WESTERLY, November 7, 2011 – The Westerly Hospital Auxiliary will once again hold its annual “Lights of Love” campaign. Proceeds from this year’s campaign will be used to purchase two glide scopes for the Hospital’s Anesthesiology Department. These life-saving instruments are used to view a patient’s airway when it would otherwise be impassible. Through the Lights of Love program, the community is invited to honor or remember a loved one by purchasing a “Love Light” in their name in denominations of $5, $25, $50, $100, or more. Names of those honored or remembered will be posted weekly in the Hospital lobby, and lights will be used to decorate trees along the Wells Street side of the Hospital. For each $1,000 raised, a tree will be completely lit.
The annual Lights of Love reception will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hospital lobby. During the ceremony, the Westerly Hospital Auxiliary will honor Vincent A. Montemarano, MD for his years of dedicated service to the community, the Hospital and his patients.
Donation envelopes are available at the Hospital’s Information Desk located in the main lobby or in the Hospital’s Gift Shop. The donation form is also available on the Hospital’s website at www.westerlyhospital.org.
