Groton, CT (May 10, 2010) – The Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton and its signature steakhouse, Octagon, were recently honored with prestigious AAA Four Diamond Awards during the Second Annual Connecticut Conference On Tourism, held on May 6 at MGM Grand at Foxwoods. This is the ninth year in a row the hotel has received the Four Diamond award, and the seventh consecutive recognition for Octagon. The AAA Four Diamond lodging award is given to those establishments who provide an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail.
