A Notice about the Mystic Country Visitors Guide

The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is pleased to announce that it is again partnering in “one voice for Tourism” and endorsing the Mystic Country Visitors Guide as the regions “Official Fulfillment Guide” for 2012, promoting the entire Eastern CT Chamber’s area from northeastern CT to the CT /RI shoreline… collectively branded as Mystic Country.

For the second year in a row, the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is collaborating with the Eastern Regional Tourism District, the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and The Day Publishing Company in producing and distributing Mystic Country Visitors Guide for 2012.  New to the partnership for 2012 is the Greater Mystic Visitors Bureau.

This year’s five-party tourism partnership will result in Mystic Country Visitors Guide being the major Visitors Guide publication to represent our area for 2012. 

This past year’s 2011 issue effectively captured the essence of Mystic Country with over 120 colorful pages dedicated to promoting the many assets including places to stay, places to eat, shopping and the many family-friendly attractions of the region. 

To date, the original four agencies combined, have successfully distributed as their primary fulfillment product, almost 250,000 copies of the 2011Visitors Guide to people both in and out of the region interested in more information about the Mystic Country area.

Mystic Country Visitors Guide is also available through the chamber’s website, www.ChamberECT.com, as well as the official tourism website of Mystic Country, www.mystic.org., www.mysticchamber.org and www.theday.com.

NOW’S THE TIME…  to sign up for 2012!

With full development efforts underway, now is the time to be included in the new 2012 issue of Mystic Country Visitors Guide.  Advertising and Editorial efforts are in full swing to have 250,000 copies of the beautiful 100+page Visitors Guide completed for the Spring 2012 Tourism Season. 

The new 2012 issue will feature a well-defined regional editorial layout showcasing all of Mystic Country to include the Mystic area, a central/eastern CT Shoreline region, a northeast Connecticut section and the southern Rhode Island area.
