Groton, CT—Mystic River Acupuncture has launched a new website designed to be informative and give clear descriptions of all aspects of Chinese medicine.

The new website, www.mysticriveracupuncture.com, lists specials, schedules, and current activities on the home page. The News & Events and Hot Topics pages describe how this ancient medicine is used in the modern world.  Other web pages give thorough explanations of therapies, such as cupping and moxabustion, which are associated with acupuncture. Throughout the website are links to relevant articles and photos depicting the practice of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Kathleen T. Poole, M.S., L.Ac., owner and senior acupuncturist of Mystic River Acupuncture, draws on more than 20 years experience to keep visitors to the website up to date on the latest applications of acupuncture and Chinese herbs.  Her practice offers Chinese herbal medicine as well as acupuncture and therapeutic massage. Its fully stocked traditional Asian herbal apothecary is one of the few in Connecticut.


Poole, who resides in Mystic, CT, will be continuing her advanced herbal studies with Dr. Huang Huang of Nanjing in London, UK, in February 2011.
