PR-Survival Systems USA Inc, the world’s leader in underwater egress training and survival, is proud to announce the completion and grand reopening of their state-of-the-art SURVIVAL TRAINING SIMULATION THEATRE at their headquarters in Groton, CT. This facility is now home to the most up to date and sophisticated underwater egress and surface water survival simulations available anywhere.


After more than 12 years in business, SSUSA has trained more than 100,000 individuals from every corner of the globe at their facilities worldwide. The company’s emphasis is on evacuation and egress from downed aircraft in water and the new facility will leave nothing to the imagination. SSUSA’s patented Modular Egress Training Simulator (METS™) will still be the backbone of their training, but now included are simulations for rain, foul weather, rescue aircraft rotor downwash, and thunder and lightning, making for the most realistic and hands on training that the company has ever offered.


All members of the community are invited to observe training and take a tour of the facility on April, 14, 2011. Demonstrations of the METS™ and the new training theatre will run at 7:45 am, 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
