Papadakos Named Vice President, Director of Marketing & Sales at Dime Bank

NORWICH, Conn. — Dime Bank--a mutual, full-service, community bank--is pleased to announce that Diane G. Papadakos assumed the role of vice president, director of marketing and sales on January 3. Papadakos is responsible for Dime Bank’s marketing and promotions, advertising, public relations, branding, and community relations. She reports directly to Cheryl Calderado, senior vice president of administration, services, sales and marketing.

Papadakos brings 23-years of experience as a marketing executive within the financial, manufacturing and real estate investment/property management industries. She comes to Dime Bank from The Hartford after she spent the last 4+ years managing company-wide marketing communications and multimedia communication efforts for the 200-year old company.

Prior to The Hartford, Papadakos led marketing and communications efforts for ITT Corporation-Power Solutions, Inc. She also served as director of marketing at Northeast Specialty, Inc., CityStage & Symphony Hall, and Aspen Square Management in Massachusetts. She has been nationally-recognized and awarded several marketing excellence awards.

Papadakos received her MBA in entrepreneurial thinking and innovation and MS in communications and information management from Bay Path College and her BA in communications and journalism from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She is also certified in Value Based Six Sigma and Change Management.

She and her husband, James, reside in New London, Conn.
