CHARTER OAK EMPLOYEES KEEP CREDIT UNION STRONG

Staff of the Credit Union’s Long Hill Road Branch Win Team of the Quarter Cup


On Tuesday, April 28, 2009, over 200 Charter Oak employees gathered at the Norwich Holiday Inn for the Credit Union’s first quarterly meeting of the year. Initiated by CEO Brian Orenstein, the quarterly meetings allow employees to discuss the past, present and future of Charter Oak; as well as the chance to applaud the efforts and accomplishments of their coworkers.

After listening to presentations ranging in topics from investing in the stock market, to helping Credit Union members to weather the current financial storm, Orenstein presented the heavily anticipated Team of the Quarter Cup. Presented to the employees of the Credit Union’s Long Hill Road branch for their outstanding performance during the first quarter, the gold trophy was gladly accepted by Branch Manager Deb Berardi and her enthusiastic staff.
