If you’re already familiar with the Chamber, you know that we take networking seriously. We arrange over 150 events every year, each designed to maximize members’ exposure to each other, all with the goal of growing their businesses.

Start your new year right by attending our regularly scheduled Business After Hours networking events. These events are the region’s leading means of conducting informal business after-hours in casual, relaxed settings. Each event is held at a different, interesting venue so you can get to know the businesses and organizations that comprise our business community.
Most Business After Hours events feature two hours of prime networking time, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages, welcome remarks by the venue host, and an exciting door prize drawing to cap the evening.
Admission to most Business After Hours events is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. Be sure to register in advance to avoid paying an additional $5 walk-in fee! Registering is quick and easy by visiting the upcoming events page on the Chamber’s website .

When you subscribe, you’ll get a custom namebadge, you’ll be automatically registered for every Business After Hours event, you’ll never have to pay walk-in fees, you’ll receive regular email reminders about upcoming Business After Hours events, and if you are unable to attend, you can send a colleague in your place at no additional cost.
Additionally, Business After Hours subscribers save money for their businesses. A $150 Business After Hours subscription saves subscribers 30% compared to the cost of registering for every Business After Hours event through 2018.

Chamber Business Breakfasts, ribbon cutting ceremonies, new member meet-and-greets, workshops, and annual home and health expositions all provide ample opportunities throughout the year for members to network with each other.
The Community Concierge initiative, a new Chamber program designed to welcome new residents to the region, provides a unique opportunity for eastern CT citizens to display their knowledge of living and working here with new arrivals. The Community Concierge program aims to reach out to newcomers and offers a comfortable, informed transition to the region.
