Purchasing Seminar On June 9 the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut hosted a purchasing seminar for New London Businesses at One Union Plaza. The event was carried out as part of a contract with the city of New London and presented in cooperation with Suisman Shapiro Attorneys at Law and a Thyme to Cook. Student Scholars Two Chamber-sponsored breakfast programs recently honored student scholars and community leaders who received gifts valued nearly $20,000. Ten student community leaders from inland schools were honored in Norwich, while nine from shoreline schools were singled out in Groton. That program was co-hosted by the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. |
