National Pride: Fourth of July GalleryOur nation's flag is displayed proudly and prominently throughout the year in our region, and elsewhere, but on the Fourth day of July the numbers multiply. The flag is a symbol of our freedom and deserves to be given special recognition and flown with more than a small measure of pride. Look around and you will see massive flags atop towering staffs that seem to touch the sky. You will see the more diminutive that flutter over the graves of those who served, and in some cases died, in our military. And you will see a wide range of sizes in between.
