Joining our regional Chamber of Commerce is one of the best decisions you’ll make as a business owner. With a regional chamber, you’re part of something bigger. There are many benefits to Chamber membership, some you can enjoy without ever leaving your desk.
For more information, please contact the Chamber at 860-701-9113.
We receive thousands of calls, emails, and web queries each year seeking businesses like yours. If you’re a member, we refer you.
The Chamber works hard to get your name out there in many ways. Talk to your Membership Investment Manager for details. Introduce your business with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
As a Chamber member, you may take part in our free workshops and seminars or our Leadership Program to help prepare you and your employees for regional leadership.
With a number of networking events to choose from, you’ll have many opportunities to make new contacts – see our events calendar for details.
We want you to be heard all the way to Hartford and Washington. Our lobbyist monitors legislation that may affect your business. We also offer a “members-only” legislative bill tracking system that lets you keep up with the bills most pertinent to your business.
The Chamber makes it easy to share your business’ news, flyers, job ads, discounts, special events, and more with our growing membership base. We offer free promotion and affordable advertising options. Take advantage of our print and digital marketing reach to promote your business and gain new clients.
Help is available through our formal partnerships with the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Small Business Administration, CT Department of Economic and Community Development, Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board, CT Development Authority, CT Economic Resource Center and SCORE.
We maintain Councils to address the varying needs of our communities. Councils currently active include: East Lyme, Fisher’s Island, Groton – Ledyard, Lyme-Old Lyme, Montville, New London, Norwich Area, Council of the Stoningtons, and Waterford. Content and schedules vary between different councils.
If you’re looking to expand your business, we can help with the permitting process and offer support through the process and planning for expansion.
