Request For Proposals

This is a new section on the site designed to post requirements and Request for Proposals (RFP's) for services that the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT is interested in procuring.

Purchasing Policy

Expenditures relating to Chamber activities require the following:
  • A Finance Committee authorized budget and an authorized signature on a chamber purchase requisition form.
  • Purchase orders of $500 or more require solicitation of at least 3 written bids
  • Every effort will be made to purchase goods and services from chamber members.
  • Exceptions to this policy may be granted by the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Bids should be directed to the Director of Finance or in his/her absence, the President of the Chamber.

1. Speakers/Presenters 2010 Business Education Webinar and Seminar Series:

We are currently looking for speakers/ presenters for the 2010 Business Education Series.

The Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, Inc strives to create and maintain a positive business climate that meets the needs of our members by supporting economic development and growth in the region.

In our effort to bring our members cost effective business training the Business Education Series was developed. The Business Education Series focuses on providing business owners with the tools and know-how needed to run their organizations more effectively and productively. We require one (1) hardcopy of the quote/proposal be mailed to the following contact or an electronic copy sent via e-mail. All questions should also be directed to the same contact. Questions about this Request/RFP should be submitted to Sheri Cote, Director of Finance and Administrative Services 860-701-9113 or via email at scote@chamberect.com by 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). CCEC will respond to all received RFP's submitted upon the deadline date.

Additional Information

This Request/RFP in no way obligates CCEC to award an agreement, nor does it commit CCEC to pay any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of a proposal. CCEC will judge on the best value presented and reserves the right to award this proposal based on the initial evaluation of offers without discussions. Responses received after this date and time shall not be accepted and shall be considered non-responsive.
