There’s a Faerie Village in Connecticut

by ChamberECT

And it won’t be around for long.

Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, Connecticut has brought back their immersive Wee Faerie Village, an artistic installment of miniature faerie homes and charming tiny shops. Faerieville, USA is open for exploration September 30 to October 29.

The quaint village features “everything faeries require to get through their whimsical day” like a bank, grocery store, park, school, and movie theater. Visitors of all ages will find something magical amidst 30 thematic trail stops all around the museum’s 13 scenic acres.

Artists work tirelessly to bring their miniature concepts to life. Featured artists include Mary Ann Rumney Besier, Chris Blackshaw, and Robin Breeding, to name just a few.

Reservations are not required, and a modest admission includes the Village, access to current exhibits, the historic Florence Griswold home, and the rest of the museum. The exhibit is open rain or shine. See you in Faerieville!
